An IPED review of the Australian standards for editing practice is under way, and all societies are being asked to contribute.

In February we will be holding a workshop to discuss our collective response to the current draft, which has been emailed to all financial members. In the meantime, this is a space for you to comment on any aspect of it.

Questions to consider include:

• Is the active language appropriate?
• Should it emphasise skills and knowledge?
